PROFILE
Michael and Dianne are experienced professional photographers returning to their home
state of Mississippi. Michael and Dianne have been published internationally in such
publications as Stern, Europeo, Die Aktuelle and Asahigraph. In the states,
Michael and Dianne's photos have graced the pages of such national publications
as Sports Illustrated, Glamour, Time, Newsweek, PC World Magazine, Professional
Photographer, including the covers of Design Concepts and our own Mississippi Magazine.
They are graduates of the University of Southern Mississippi's journalism program,
earning special credentials in the area of photojournalism. They honed their skills
serving as staff photographers for the Pulitzer Prize-winning Jackson,
(MS) Clarion-Ledger 1981-1987.
In 1987, Dianne was hired as a staff photographer for the
Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Michael established his photography
business in Atlanta. During that time Michael became a favorite among area
public relations firms and various trade publications as Dianne was generating
award-winning photographs on assignments that took her as far as the former
Soviet Union. Dianne twice won the "Best in Show" award at the Atlanta Seminar on
Photojournalism, as well as numerous first-place titles. Michael was frequently
hired to cover stories for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The New York Times and
the New Orleans Times-Picayune. He has worked for such noted firms as Nissan,
Coca-Cola, Chrysler, Caterpillar, Arby's, Zenith, the City of Atlanta and
Phi Theta Kappa, the international scholastic society.
